17 Apr Flower Crowns & Combs

We’re excited to introduce Lauren, who will be helping us gather the best wedding and event inspiration to share with you. Lauren brings unique ideas, an eye for good design, and, most importantly, laughter to our team. We’re so thankful to have her talents. xoxo, Bethany & Danielle

If you’ve been on Pinterest lately or in any boutique shop – you know that flower crowns are trending. We love that they can be made to order, reflecting each bride’s personality.  Whether you are seeking an ethereal look, or something bright and fun, it can be reflected by these natural headpieces. Flower crowns are a refreshing alternative to a veil, and so versatile! We recommend that you look into seasonal flowers, and what blooms will be able to withstand the elements. Also, ask your stylist about the best way to wear your hair, especially if you plan on taking your crown off at some point (to avoid the dreaded “crown hair”).

If you don’t want to fully commit to the flower crown but still love the look, try a flower comb instead. And who says flower crowns are just for the bride? We’ve never seen a flower girl not look cute with some baby’s breath and spray roses in her hair.
